Month of May busiest ever!!
The Month of May has been one of our busiest months on record for the team. We have been called out by Sussex Police to attend 12 searches for vulnerable missing people across the county. ( we normally would receive 3-4 call outs per month!). To put things into perspective this equates to:
595 hours of searching.
122 sectors planned and searched.
As an estimate, we will have saved Sussex Police around £10k-£12k in resources.
This is all carried out by our team of volunteers who provide most of their own kit, give up their time freely and are on call 24 hours a day 7 days a week.
A massive hats off goes to every team member in #volunteersweek where we recognise all volunteers across the country.
